I upset people....sometimes with my bluntness about the state of the industry...in particular my goes at some business IT managers. Sometimes you need to be blunt to get a point across.

That needs to be the lesson for many IT Security Managers. You only have a few options. If you are like the majority, you're not listened too and no one cares what you say. You're life there is short.....so make the most of it......send that email to the CIO or CSO and copy the board! Tell them them how it is...........and when it finally hits the fan...next week or next year, at least you know you're butt has been covered. Kick arse dudes....sometimes this recommendation is all you have. I know.....I have been there before!
